Get a head start right away with the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification. It's the foundational Enterprise Wi-Fi certification within the CWNP family of certifications and a stepping stone to earning your Security, Design, Analysis and Network Expert certifications.

Do you have an understanding of the fundamentals of wireless technology? Do you know how WLAN works and how it is managed on a day-to-day basis? Are you able to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain wireless networks in small businesses or corporations?

As the demand for WLAN networks grows, so does the need for certified network administrators.

What it takes to become a CWNA:

CWNA certification is a basic wireless LAN certification for the CWNP program. To obtain CWNA certification, you must take the CWNA exam at a Pearson Vue Testing Center and pass with at least 70%. Instructors must pass the exam with at least 80%.

However you prepare for the CWNA exam, you should start with the exam objectives that cover the entire list of skills tested on the exam. CWNA certification is valid for three (3) years. To recertify, you must take one of the professional certification exams (CWSP, CWDP, CWAP) BEFORE your CWNA expires. Doing so will renew your CWNA for another three (3) years. Or retake the current version of the CWNA exam.
